This Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough is a perfect way to enjoy cookie dough without the worry. It only has a few ingredients and takes a whopping 5 minutes to throw it together. This is my go to dessert when I don’t have anything else baked or when I am craving some good ol’ chocolate chip cookie dough. Another bonus is my kids love it too!

- Organic Coconut Oil
I seem to always have all the ingredients to prepare this Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. To be honest, I am never without dairy-free chocolate chips. Let me just say, I have a modest stock pile! This cookie dough has been shared with many friends and has now become their go to dessert when they have a sweet tooth. You are welcome to change the flour and use all-purpose flour, but then there is that mention of having to cook raw flour for a few minutes before eating (I never do that, but it is totally up to you).

First grab your favorite bowl to mix the ingredients. Then soften the coconut oil in the microwave and mix well. Mix in a dash of salt or more (depending on your taste), add all the ingredients but the chocolate chips and mix well again. Next, add in the best part… The Chocolate Chips! Fold in and ENJOY Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough straight from the bowl. You may also want to share with someone because this recipe is for two, but who am I to judge! Another fun fact, I also roll this dough into balls and store in the refrigerator for my kids to snack on.

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup softened organic coconut oil
- 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
- 3/4 cup gluten free flour I use Bob's Red Mill Gluten 1-to-1 Baking Flour
- 1/4 tsp salt I just use a dash of salt
- 1/4 cup dairy-free mini chocolate chips
Instructions

Using a small bowl combine softened coconut oil, vanilla extract, maple syrup and salt. Mix well.

Add gluten-free flour. Mix thoroughly.

Fold in dairy-free chocolate chips.

Divide into two bowls. Serve and enjoy.

- I also roll the dough into 10 balls and refrigerate to grab and go.
