Edible Funfetti Cookie Dough (vegan, dairy-free, gluten-free)
Edible Funfetti Cookie Dough is bursting with flavor, just like a sugar cookie and is Vegan and Gluten-Free.
Here I go with another cookie dough recipe. I absolutely love edible cookie dough and so do my littles. It is the quickest treat I can throw together for them. This Funfetti Edible Cookie Dough is a hit in my house and I’m sure you are wondering why? My kiddos LOVE sprinkles! Who doesn’t!? Anything with sprinkles they are drawn to. We all know why! Sprinkles are vibrant in color, sweet and pretty to admire. The kiddos enjoy eating this cookie dough out of a cute dessert dish, but their favorite way to devour them is when I roll the Funfetti Edible Cookie Dough into balls.
When making this Funfetti Edible Cookie Dough I wanted it to taste just like a sugar cookie and it does. In addition to pure vanilla extract, I add almond extract and it gives it that buttery taste you find in a sugar cookie. This recipe is just like the Edible Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough I make, but, instead of using chocolate chips throw in colorful sprinkle and use a drop of pure almond extract.
Now, let me explain how simple it is to make Edible Funfetti Cookie Dough. First, soften the coconut oil (I use refined coconut oil so it doesn’t have a coconuty flavor). Next, mix in a dash of salt or more (depending on your taste), and then add the remainder of the ingredients except the sprinkles and mix well.
Next, add in the vibrant sprinkles and mix.
Then, divide into two bowls enjoy immediately or roll into balls and refrigerate for 10 minutes. Either way it is YUMMY!

- 1/4 cup Sprinkles
Instructions
-
Using a small bowl combine softened coconut oil, vanilla extract, almond extract maple syrup and salt. Mix well.
-
Add gluten-free flour. Mix thoroughly.
-
Add SPRINKLES. Mix well.

Recipe Notes
***I use refined coconut oil because I do not want the coconut flavor in the cookie dough.
***I have only used Bob's Red Mill Gluten Free 1-to-1 Baking Flour, if choosing to use a different flour I can't guarantee the flavor will be the same.
- I also roll the dough into 10 balls and refrigerate to grab and go.

I was wondering how you did this without eggs or flour. Genius! My kids love cookie dough but I never let them taste it because of the egg issue. This is a great idea and looks like it is simple to make.
I just made this but all I taste is coconut oil. The taste is so overpowering, I had to dump it. I followed the measurements in the recipe.
Hi! If you used Unrefined Coconut Oil the coconut flavor will definitely come through. I made an update on my post to make sure to use Refined Coconut Oil so it won’t have an overpowering coconut flavor.
